This Privacy Policy describes how Skenuok.lt ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the Skenuok.lt web application and mobile app at https://app.skenuok.lt.

We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 and applicable Lithuanian data protection law.

2. What Data We Collect

Account data (required to use the service):

Username — chosen by you at registration. We do not require or store your real name or email address for a standard account.
Password — stored as a bcrypt hash. We never store your password in plaintext.
Account creation timestamp and subscription expiry date.
Nickname — display name set during onboarding.

Alert email (optional, only if you set up price alerts):

An email address you provide when creating a price alert. Used solely to send that alert notification. Not used for marketing.

Content you create:

Chart images — screenshots you upload for AI analysis. Stored on our server to display your analysis history.
Analysis results — AI-generated entry/stop/target levels, technical context, and outcome tracking data associated with your account.
Chat messages — messages you post in the community chat, stored with your username and timestamp.
Price alerts — pair, price level, and optional email you configure.

Technical data (collected automatically):

IP address — logged when you create analyses, alerts, or referral activities, for security and anti-abuse purposes.
Session cookie — a single HTTP-only session cookie (crypto_chart_ai_session) that keeps you logged in for up to 14 days. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

Referral program (optional):

If you participate in the referral program and choose to receive payouts, a crypto wallet address (USDT/TRC20) you voluntarily provide.

3. How We Use Your Data

Provide and operate the AI chart analysis service.
Authenticate your login and maintain your session.
Store and display your analysis history and outcome tracking.
Send alert notifications to your email (if you opted in).
Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
Improve the service.

Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6): Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)) for core service delivery; legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for security and abuse prevention; consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for optional email alerts.

4. Third-Party Services

OpenAI (USA) — When you upload a chart image for analysis, the image and your selected parameters are sent to OpenAI's API to generate the analysis. OpenAI processes this data as a data processor under our instructions. OpenAI's privacy policy: openai.com/privacy. Data transfer to the USA is covered by OpenAI's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Binance public API — We query publicly available OHLCV price data from Binance to track outcome results (target hits and stops). No personal data is sent to Binance.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other advertising or behavioural tracking services.

5. Data Retention

Account data and analysis history: retained until you delete your account.
Alert email addresses: retained until the alert is triggered or deleted by you.
Session cookies: expire after 14 days of inactivity.
IP addresses in logs: retained for up to 90 days for security purposes.
Community chat messages: retained until you delete them or delete your account.

6. Data Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS). Access to the server is restricted by SSH key authentication. JSON data files are written atomically to prevent corruption.

7. Your Rights Under GDPR

You have the right to:

Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion of your account and all associated data. You can do this directly at /delete-account.
Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format.
Restriction — request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Withdraw consent — withdraw consent for optional processing (e.g., alert emails) at any time.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt).

8. Children

The service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
